This fall, Clean Gloucester Day will last a whole weekend.

Clean Gloucester Weekend will be held Friday, Sept. 18 through Sunday, Sept. 20.

Gloucester’s event is being held the same weekend as the Great American Cleanup, according to a release from askHRgreen.org and Keep Virginia Beautiful.

The Gloucester Clean Community office will provide bags, buckets, grabbers, road signs and safety vests for this event during the week before the cleanup. Equipment will be picked up from the Stewart Building on Main Street.

Community members are encouraged to pick a spot, choose their group, then sign up online to request equipment at this website: https://tinyurl.com/CleanGloDay. Using this signup form, participants can indicate their choice of borrowing supplies during county business hours, or contact-free pickup anytime at their convenience.
