The fall installation of Clean Gloucester Day will be held by Gloucester Clean Community on Saturday throughout the county.
Individual volunteers and groups are encouraged to sign up online through the Clean Community website. Groups can select a spot to clean up or one can be assigned. Public spaces such as schools and parks are encouraged areas for younger volunteers like scout troops and school groups. Anyone under 18 must have adult supervision.
A collection center will be set up next to the Gloucester County Public Library, Main Street Center, where participants can drop off material they collect. The five convenience centers in the county can also be utilized.
Bags and supplies like vests, gloves and litter grabbers will be available to borrow from Clean Community at the Stewart Building this week with online registration.
