Community members can sign up online to register their groups for Clean Gloucester Day. The spring cleanup will be held countywide on Saturday, March 28, as Gloucester gets tidied up before Daffodil Festival.
Using the signup form (https://tinyurl.com/CGDay2019), participants can indicate their choice of picking up their supplies at the staging area on Saturday morning, or at the Clean Community Office during the month before the event. Cleanups can be completed anytime during the month of March to be counted toward the Clean Gloucester Day totals.
This time, the staging area will be located at Building One, 6467 Main Street. There will be a tent on the front lawn for equipment pick-up from 8 a.m. to noon, and a large roll-off container behind the building for volunteers to bring the bags of trash they collect. Borrowed equipment can be returned to the staging area that same day, or to the Parks, Recreation and Tourism office during business hours in the days following the event.
