Clean Gloucester Day

Community groups and individuals took to the roads in Gloucester this past weekend to help in the spring Clean Gloucester Day event. The county supplied gloves, bags, vests and grabbers, while the volunteers provided the labor. Here, members of First Baptist Church, Ordinary, gathered up nine large bags of trash along a stretch of Guinea Road. Shown here with their bags of debris on Friday are, from left, Sharon Washington, Marion Randall, First Baptist Church First Lady Cleo Warren, Pastor Ward Warren, and, in front, Webster Corbin.
