Clay earring, watercolor classes offered at Arts on Main

Gloucester Arts on Main is offering a pair of classes in the coming week—a clay earring class on Saturday and a two-day watercolor workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 19 and 20.

Erin Robertson will be teaching the clay earring class from 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday. Students will create one-of-a-kind clay earrings by using different textures, colors and shapes. Robertson will provide all materials needed for the class. Keep the earrings for yourself or make a pair to give as a Christmas present. The cost is $45 per student.

Kathleen Noffsinger will teach the watercolor workshop, “Painting the Chesapeake—Shimmering Beach Scenes in Watercolor.” Designed for all levels of artist, the program will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 20.

Noffsinger will share her secrets to painting glorious light and shimmering color in this two-day workshop. Artists will work indoors from their own non-copyrighted photos of beaches, people, birds, boats and of course our beautiful Chesape...
