The Mathews High School Class of 1965 annually gives a $1,000 scholarship to a current graduate of MHS, and has supported 19 students since the program began. This year’s recipient is Taylor Isabella Hudgins, who plans to study nursing with an eye to becoming a pediatric nurse. The Class of 1965 scholarship is made in memory of classmates and sponsors lost over the years.
