A funeral for Clarence E. Sheppard Jr. of Mathews, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, in Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal. He died Jan. 19, 2015. 

Survivors include two daughters, Clarissa Sheppard and Amber Sheppard; mother, Helen B. Sheppard; two sisters, Helen Pope and Cindy Maultsby; two brothers, Arthur Lee Brooks and William “Mac” Sheppard, and three grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
