CLARA BERNICE (DRUMHELLER) LAEMMERMANN

Clara Bernice (Drumheller) Laemmermann, 85, Gloucester, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at Riverside Convalescent Center, Mathews, surrounded by family and friends.

She was born Oct. 1, 1931 in Albemarle County, Faber, to Alfred and Gertrude Drumheller, both deceased. Bernice was also preceded in death by brothers, Carl “Diddy Boy” Drumheller and Earl Drumheller.

She is survived by brother, Earnest Drumheller and wife Madge of Verona; three loving daughters, Lonna Thomas and husband Raymond of Gloucester, Donna Fleming and husband Steven of Chesapeake, and Dawn Denman and husband Jason of Broadway; four grandsons, John, Sean, Dutch and Chris; two granddaughters, Jessica and Clara Blythe; two great-granddaughters, Kendall and Logan, and one great-grandson, Wyatt.

She was a member of Thalia Thumpers Square Dance Club from 1991-2005.

A memorial service conducted by the Rev. Dave Seabolt will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at New Hope Baptist Church, 9713 George Washington Mem. Hwy., Gloucester. The family will greet friends prior to the service, from 2-3 at the church. 

A graveside committal service conducted by the Rev. Stan Martin will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Monticello Memorial Gardens, Charlottesville,
