Joy Henderson, site manager for the Lewis B. Puller Center in Gloucester, will be the guest speaker at the Piankatank Community League’s regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. April 19. According to its website, the center is providing meaningful work and quality services for individuals with developmental disabilities from the 10 counties on the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Ms. Henderson will provide information about the center and its activities. The meeting will be held at the league building on Harcum Road and is open to the public.
