The West Mathews Civic League will hold a covered-dish dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the civic league building in Bohannon. Cardiac nurse Danette Machen, guest speaker for the evening, will provide heart healthy tips. Members of the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad will be special guests.
