Civic groups at May Faire

Among the civic groups participating in 2026 Mathews May Faire event held May 2 and 3, were the Cricket Hill Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Central Village Homemakers. The DAR women manning their booth, top photo from left, included Carolyn Lynch, librarian Carolyn Hogge and Vice Regent Mary-Alice Emerson. They shared information on NSDAR and demonstrated proper flag folding, sold 250 ornaments and chances on an American flag afghan for their scholarship fund. The winner of the afghan will be announced during a Mathews 250 event in July.
