James and Austin Coates of Hayes, from left, caught and released a pair of citation red drums in the Chesapeake Bay on May 8, according to the May 27 report of vasaltwaterjournal.com. The fish caught by the father-and-son duo were 48 and 47 inches, respectively. Also newly listed in the journal is the March 30 catch and release of a 28-inch speckled trout in the Piankatank River by Keith Nuttall of Gloucester.
