Bailey Hudgins of Glouces-ter, trolling offshore in Norfolk Canyon on Sept. 8, caught and released a blue marlin, sailfish and white marlin. These catches qualified him for three citations in the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament.

Also receiving multiple citations recently was Robert F. Flippin of Gloucester, for three sheepshead catches in Chesapeake Bay. A 10-pound, 11-ounce fish was caught Sept. 9. The next day, Flippin went out and brought home a 12-pound, two-ounce sheepshead, and 10-pound, 7-ounce sheepshead, both for citations.

Keith Nuttall of Gloucester, caught and released two citation-length speckled trout on Sept. 10 in Ware River. One was 25.5 inches, the other 24.25 inches.
