The Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament has announced that a number of residents recently received citations for large red drum caught and released.

Poquoson Flats produced a number of these winners on April 15: Nathan Gross of Hayes, 46-inch fish; Logan Jenkins of Hayes, 48-inch fish; and Austin West of Hayes, 49-inch fish caught.

Christopher Robins of Hayes received a citation for a 52-inch red drum caught April 10 in the Chesapeake Bay. The bay also produced a citation for Billy Flippin of Bena, who caught a 50-inch drum.
