For the second year, health services organization Cigna has signed on to be a Platinum-level sponsor for the Gloucester Educational Foundation’s 5K fundraiser.

Cigna is encouraging participation in this year’s event, which will be held virtually, by providing 50 paid registrations reserved especially for teachers and staff. Cigna is the current health service provider for Gloucester County Public Schools.

“Cigna is proud to once again sponsor the Gloucester Educational Foundation’s 5K,” said Sara Pomeroy, Cigna Engagement Consultant. “We are dedicated to improving the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve, and events like this help our community get moving, get outside and get healthier. During these challenging times, it’s important to take care of ourselves—body and mind—and exercise is a great way to do that.”
