The Mathews Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, next Thursday, Nov. 24, at Kingston Parish House, 370 Main Street, Mathews. A short worship service, beginning at 10:30 a.m., will precede the meal, which is offered at no charge.

The menu includes turkey, ham and all the trimmings. This community-wide dinner is sponsored by Antioch Baptist, Catholic Church of Francis de Sales, Kingston Episcopal, Macedonia Baptist and Salem UMC.
