DINNER: Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh, offers its free community Thanksgiving dinner to visitors from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.DINNER: Kingston Parish, Mathews, will hold its Thanksgiving Dinner in conjunction with Antioch Baptist Church, Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Salem United Methodist Church and Macedonia Baptist Church. The worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

ADVENT: Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point, will have an Advent Worship service from 8:30-11a.m. on Nov. 27.

ADVENT: Newington Baptist Church, Gloucester Main Street, will begin its Advent series today, “Christmas in Bethlehem.” It will be focused on the birth of Jesus with the town of Bethlehem as a unifying thread. The church will hold a prayer breakfast for missions at 9 a.m.
