Christopher J. Thomas VonHatten Sr. of Newport News, died Sept. 11, 2012.

He was born Nov. 13, 1959.

He was preceded in death by mother, Mary H. Allen; father, Henry Jackson Bick, and wives, Linda VonHatten and Rebecca VonHatten.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa West; son, Christopher VonHatten Jr.; stepfather, Louis VonHatten; brothers, Francis Bick, Ronald VonHatten, Steven Bick, Russell VonHatten and Michael VonHatten; sisters, Jackie Hill, Mary Ross, Dianna Poe, Joyce Sargent and Patricia Adams, and three grandchildren.
