Christopher Farrell Emerson, 42 years old, a native of Gloucester, died Monday, March 28, 2011.

He was predeceased by his father, Sheriff Ruben F. Emerson, and his sister, Sally Emerson Kerns.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia S. Emerson; his son, Timothy Curtis Emerson; his daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Ann Emerson; uncles, Jim Smith, Bill Smith, John Emerson (Charlotte), and Dennis Emerson (Bonnie).

Funeral services will be private.
