Gwynn’s Island Baptist Church will hold its second annual “Christmas Under the Stars” drive-in concert at 5 p.m. Sunday at the gazebo of the Gwynn’s Island Civic League. The league property is directly across from the church, which is located on 2011 Old Ferry Road.

Local singers and groups will perform. Those attending can remain in their cars parked around the gazebo listen to the music over the car’s FM radio or on the sound system. The audience is also invited to bring chair and blankets and sit outside, a release said.

The Rev. Ed Jordan, pastor, said more than 230 people attended the inaugural concert in 2020.

While the concert is free of charge, persons may desire to make donations and those funds will be transferred to “Hope to Appalachia” for providing basic supplies to children in the Kentucky Appalachian region, Jordan said.
