120 YEARS AGOThursday, Dec. 21, 1905 A fair and supper will be held at the parsonage of the Providence M. E. Church, South, on Christmas night. There will be a supper set fit for kings and queens. The display of dolls, pincushions, pillows and all sorts of novelties are bound to attract considerable attention and bring a few shekels to the church. The ladies, young and old, are interested in the affair to the full limit, and success will certainly be the reward of their efforts. If you have not anything particular to do on Christmas night, it will be a pretty good way to wind up the Christmas, and at the same time help out the church. Remember, Christmas night. On and after Saturday, Dec. 23, 1905, the daily service of the York River Line between Baltimore, West Point and Richmond will be discontinued, and until further notice, steamers will be operated on a tri-weekly service, leaving Baltimore on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 5 o’clock p.m., and leaving West Point on Mondays, ...
