Christmas Eve Row

Forty-five Mobjack Rowing Association rowers, family members and significant others gathered at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24 to take part in the 25th annual Christmas Eve Row. Rowers ranged in age from 12 to 66 years old with 2007 alumna Jessica (Fosdyck) Rader expecting the next Mobjack future rower in February. Rowing participants launched six boats for the traditional row down the race course while family and friends cheered them on. “Little did I know when I started crew in Mathews that we would grow to such a dedicated and extended family,” said Coach Tim Ulsaker, who has attended all 25 rows. “The small group gathered today represents a part of around 1,000 people who have taken part in Mathews rowing over the past 35 years.” ...
