Christmas Eve Row

Dawn broke with a clear sunny day, moderate temperatures and perfect rowing conditions for Mobjack Rowing Association’s 29th Annual Christmas Eve Row which was held on Sunday at Williams Wharf. Eight participants (six current youth members and two distinguished alums) launched four doubles to paddle up to the race course starting line, then turn and race back. All was done in good fun and holiday spirits. Veteran coaches Tim Ulsaker and Vernon Rowe ran the safety launch and had fun in the post-event chat session. Rowe and Ulsaker agreed it was a highlight of their holidays.
