Christmas Eve Row

Twenty-five Mobjack Rowing Association rowers gathered for the 27th annual Christmas Eve Row at their home port of Williams Wharf. Both current Mobjack rowers and alums coming from as far away as Oklahoma (Jessica Fosdyck Rader, 2007, with daughter on shoulders and baby due in March) came out to participate. Participants ranged in age from zero to 68, including founder, coach Tim Ulsaker, who snapped the picture. Ulsaker welcomed both current and alumni rowers and expressed appreciation for the Mobjack legend they all helped him build. Ulsaker was also pleased to see two alum mothers, Christina Tomcany and Kristin Morse, rowing with their children. Further gratifying for Ulsaker was seeing his son, Oliver, who came out to row the single (top photo). The group then launched an eight, four doubles and a single for the traditional row down their home race course on the East River.
