Christmas Blessing Fund gets underway

The Mathews Christmas Blessing Fund is off to a great start, more than a third of the way toward its $25,000 goal after one week, chairman Clarence Minters has announced.

Donations so far are $9,760, with contributions received from the following:

Church, Central United Methodist Men, Central Village Homemakers of Mathews, Chris Mart, Inc., Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Faulkner & Son, Inc., Kingston Episcopal Parish, Mathews Ruritan Club, Owens Foundation, Salem United Methodist Church, The Seabreeze, Star Fields, LLC.
