Christmas Blessing Fund at 45 percent of goal

The 2012 Mathews Ruritan Christmas Blessing Fund Drive received $11,249.78 as of the end of its first full week, 45 percent of its goal of $25,000.

Robert May, pharmacist and owner of Hudgins Pharmacy, is the chairman of this year’s fund drive.

All donations are tax deductible and should be made payable to Christmas Blessing Fund and sent to Christmas Blessing Fund, P.O. Box 74, Mathews, Va. 23109. They are used to provide assistance to needy families.
