Christine L. Nichols of Gloucester, precious child of God, was called home on April 16, 2018.

Widow of Wilbert Nichols and a sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many, Christine spent much of her life helping others through the church, the school system, her professional career with the government and her many charitable and benevolent efforts including the Peace Corps.

The ceremony for Christine L. Nichols will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at Smithfield Baptist Church located at 4810 Hickory Fork Road in Gloucester, Virginia, starting at 11 a.m. Viewing or visitation will be at J.K. Redmond Funeral Home located at 3632 General Puller Memorial Highway in Shacklefords, Virginia, on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 2-8 p.m.

In loving memory of Christine L. Nichols, we will remember the infinite number of good things you did for each of us while we were privileged enough to have you here with us. You showed many of us how to be better people and we have each been enriched by having you in our lives. Rest now with your Heavenly Father. We love you!
