CHP to hold summer performances

The Court House Players has a busy summer ahead, producing multiple performances that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

First up are the Missoula Children’s Theatre shows “Hansel and Gretel” on July 15 and 16 at Mathews High School and “Johnny Appleseed” on July 22 and 23 at St. Clare Walker Middle School in Middlesex.

Performances of both shows will be held at 6 p.m. on Fridays and 11 a.m. on Saturdays. These plays are the culmination of weeklong summer camps held for school-age children and taught by professional actors who also appear in the shows. Up to 60 children will perform in each show.

Tickets for the performances are $5 for all ages are available online or at the door.

‘Boeing Boeing’

“Boeing Boeing” will be presented by the amateur theater company Aug. 19-21 at the Church of St. Therese on Main Street in Gloucester. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
