Abingdon Ruritan Club will hold its next clam chowder sale on Saturday, Feb. 12 beginning at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the club building, Bena. “We will have an extra supply of chowder because we know that you may want to stock up for Super Bowl Sunday,” a club release stated. “Our chowder is made with only fresh clams from the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Our ‘cooks’ are very experienced Ruritan members.” The cost is $12/quart and the sale continues until sold out. Above, people line up for the last chowder sale, which was held on Jan. 15.
