Can’t get enough chili? Love to try it all?
You can eat your fill of chili on Saturday night at the West Mathews Community League building, the former Peninsula School, located on East River Road in Bohannon.
The league’s annual Chili When It’s Chilly sale is from 4-6 p.m. and offers chili dinners with side dishes, cornbread and dessert, for $8. Take-out is the only dining option.
League president Al DeWitt said that mild, medium, hot, chicken, “Wendy’s” and venison chili will all be available. Funds raised will benefit the window replacement project which continues at the 1913 schoolhouse, which the league owns and maintains, DeWitt said.
Social distancing and masks are suggested.
