Polka Dots & Denim, a children’s clothing store, has opened in Tidemill Shopping Center at Hayes. Owner Sabrina Wikle said the store offers high-end children’s clothing at drastically reduced rates. The store is not a consignment shop, but rather items are put up for resale.

According to Wikle, the business purchases name brand clothes for newborns to pre-teens. Brands include Gymboree, Gap and Ralph Lauren. It also carries boutique brands such as Rosalina and Sir John. "They bring it in and we go through it and pick out what we can use," Wikle said. "We stick with the best." She said all of the items purchased are in good condition.

The business also offers quality toys, shoes and baby gear such as cribs, high chairs and strollers, when space allows.
