The 152 excited boys and girls who attended Sunday’s Abingdon Ruritan Club’s annual Children’s Christmas party enjoyed lots of cookies and ice cream and got to play many games, worked on craft projects, and participated in cake walks (above). Each child received an age-appropriate book and a bag of “goodies.” Many of the children won door prizes consisting of bicycles and battery-powered cars.
