The Gloucester Library will be hosting a number of activities for children over the coming months.
The first will be a “Rhyme, Read and Play the Eric Carle Way” on Tuesdays beginning Sept. 11 at 10:15 a.m. It will be for ages birth to 24 months at the main library. Registration will open Aug. 28.
The library will also host activities to help preschoolers grasp the fundamentals of learning to read beginning Sept. 11 on Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m. for ages 4-5 at the main library. Pre-K story time will still be available on Wednesdays starting Sept. 12 at 10:30 a.m. Registration will open Aug. 28 for Tuesdays and Aug. 29 for Wednesdays.
A series of activities such as stories, rhymes and songs to help development for toddlers will begin Sept. 13 on Thursdays at 10:15 and 11 a.m. for ages 2-3 at the main library. Registration for the “Toddlers on the Loose” program will begin Aug. 30.
