Mathews County Resources Council, meeting on Thursday, April 16, heard a presentation by Three Rivers Healthy Families on the important of Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention. April is National Child Abuse Awareness Month, and council members were presented with blue pinwheels as a reminder of the importance of programs that seek to prevent child abuse.
