Chicago man is life of the party

There was a grand party at the home of Mr. A.F. Miller last night. There was a large crowd assembled and the guests enjoyed themselves to their full limit. Mr. John T. Wilcox, of Chicago, who is travelling in Mathews, was among the number and contributed much to the gayety of the evening by his humorous stories, witty remarks and fine singing. All departed at a late hour, thanking Mr. Miller for the night’s entertainment and asking him to have such another affair in the near future.
