Chester C. Swift of Gloucester, Va., passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016.

He is survived by his daughters, Tamme and Ray Durant of Gloucester, Va., and Elizabeth and John Mitchell of California, Md. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who called him Bumpy, Chris and Susan Durant and Grace and Brandon Cash.

He enjoyed going to the Courthouse Restaurant where he was known as Chuck. He also enjoyed Friday pizza nights with his family. A special thanks to Steve “the piano man” at the Gloucester House whom he enjoyed listening to.

Burial will be in Massachusetts at a later date.
