Chesapeake Investment Group announced that Trudy M. Quinto of Yorktown has been promoted to president of Chesapeake Financial Group, which is CIG’s registered investment advisory firm.

Quinto has been with Chesapeake for 12 years, a release said, and has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years.

Quinto has attained the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation through the American College of Financial Services, the release said, and received her Executive Leadership Certificate and Certificate in Financial Planning at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association Executive Leadership Program.
