The Chesapeake Chorale is gearing up to celebrate its 25th anniversary year two years late, with three concerts scheduled for December.Audience favorites that were planned for two years ago are on this year’s program, said a press release, including “Silent Night,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Silver Bells” and “O Holy Night.”
Concerts will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, at Northumberland High School, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville; at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Lancaster Middle School, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock; and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 at St. Clare Walker Middle School, 6814 General Puller Highway, Locust Hill.
Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased from chorale members, at Chesapeake Bank in Kilmarnock, and at the door.
The chorale will also sing for the Holly and the Ivy service at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, at Historic Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems.
