The Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club will hold a free open house on Sunday for those interested to learn how to play. The Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club, located at 1860 Twiggs Ferry Road in Hartfield, is welcoming everyone to their open house, beginning at 1 p.m. Visitors will receive free instruction on how to play and then be paired up with an experienced player for game play. CBCC has all of the equipment you will need and all you need to do is show up, a release stated. Coaches at the club will set visitors up with equipment and instruction to get started. Nestled between the Rappahannock and Piankatank rivers on Route 3 in Middlesex County, the CBCC is the largest croquet facility in the world with 24, dead-flat, carpet-like courts and an inviting clubhouse.
