Chesapeake Bank announced last week the promotion of Melissa Crawford to Middle Peninsula Regional Executive. Crawford will oversee Chesapeake Bank’s Middle Peninsula region which includes the Gloucester and Mathews market area.

She adds this to her existing role of Vice President and Director of Business Services with oversight of the bank’s business development team.

Crawford has more than 28 years of experience in the banking industry including 24 years with Chesapeake Bank. She is responsible for setting and implementing Chesapeake’s strategy for business services and now for ensuring that the bank is continuing its commitment to the Middle Peninsula region through their service offerings and outreach efforts. Melissa and her team work closely with Chesapeake Payments Systems, lenders and managers to retain existing relationships and to establish new ones.
