The Chesapeake Bank Financial Center opened recently at the Gloucester Business Park.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting was held late last month as part of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours, which Chesapeake hosted.

The center, located at 6421 Canon Way, White Marsh, was opened because two other functions of the bank had outgrown their space, said Dianne Hall, Chesapeake Bank’s executive vice president for the Middle Peninsula.

Chesapeake Bank purchased a condominium unit at the business park, Hall said. The Chesapeake condo is located between a dental office and a design studio.

Part of the Chesapeake condo houses commercial lending staff, while the other portion houses its Cash Flow division. Small business loans have been an important component of Chesapeake’s business in the region for many years, Hall said.
