Chesapeake Bank expands Richmond presence with new Midlothian lending office

Chesapeake Bank announced last week the opening of its newest lending office located at 5309 Commonwealth Centre Parkway in Midlothian. This 2,600-square-foot space marks the community bank’s sixth location in the greater Richmond market.
Chesapeake Bank, a 125-year-old independent institution, plans to be operating out of the new location by Aug. 4. The community bank first entered the Richmond market in 2011 and currently operates full-service branches and lending offices in the Westhampton and Chesterfield areas. The bank also serves residents in three prominent retirement communities: Lakewood, Cedarfield, and Westminster-Canterbury.
The new Midlothian office will house both commercial and mortgage lending teams, as well as Chesapeake Wealth Management, and will offer its full suite of specialty financial services from this location.
