Saraya Cheney has been named assistant director for programs and marketing at Arts on Main in Gloucester, expanding the gallery’s staff. In that position, she will be assisted by committees of volunteers and board members.

“I’m excited to be working on Main Street in Gloucester, the community where I live and love,” said Cheney in a press release, adding that when she first moved to the area, she volunteered at Arts on Main.

“To see their rapid growth and the way that this community has embraced the arts has been incredible,” she said. “I’m truly honored to be a part of the creative ‘renaissance’ here on Main Street and can’t wait to partner with local groups and businesses to provide expanded arts services to the region.”
