On the wings of angels, Charlotte Marie A. Hudgins of Hayes, Virginia, went to be with her son David and her heavenly Father. Marie, 89, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born August 16, 1927, in Lexington, Virginia, she was the daughter of Paul E. Agnor and Mary Ashley VanNess Agnor. Marie was a floral designer and owner of Hudgins Nursery and Florist.

She will be remembered as a loving wife of 63 years to Winfred M. Hudgins. She was predeceased by her son, David, and son-in-law, Bruce J. Raddin. Five brothers and one sister also predeceased her.

In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by her children, Dana (Don), Mary, Mike (Becky) and daughter-in-law, Delia. She is survived by her sisters, Jean Lyon, Lucy Jastrebsky, Ann Jones, Faye Darden and Sandi Yoemans, and her brothers, Wayne and Michael Agnor. She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Dr. Richard Croxton were held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 19, 2016, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden. The family received friends Sunday, September 18, 2016, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
