Charles Winder “Bud” White, 84, of Mathews, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020. He was born and raised in Mobjack and worked for McLean Contracting Company in his early years. He was also a waterman during the ’80s and ’90s and then went on to work at Waste Management until his retirement. Bud was a member of the American Legion and was well known for his love of dogs. Survivors include a host of loving cousins and friends. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 12 at Providence Cemetery, Foster. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society, P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, Va. 23061. Faulkner-Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
