Charles Henry “Bubba” Cooke, 83, of Hayes, died at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022.

He was born on Jan. 26, 1939, and was employed by the Puller Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ishmeal and Marria, and brother, James Cooke Jr.

Survivors include his sister, Rose Keats.

The family received friends at Hogg Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18. A graveside service was held at Cooke Family Cemetery at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 19, conducted by Overseer Stanley E. Hundley Sr.
