A funeral for Charles Gregory Artis of Gloucester will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, in Union Zion Baptist Church, Ware Neck. He died March 30, 2019.

He attended Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal, and Union Zion Baptist Church. He had attended the Robert E. Lee Multi-Handicap School and Peasley Middle School Special Education Program.

Survivors include his parents, Deacon James and the Rev. Betty Griffin Carter of Gloucester.

He will lie in repose from noon until service time. Burial will be in Zion Poplar Woods Cemetery, Mathews.

Howard Funeral Home, Ark, is in charge of arrangements.
