Charles Francis Flieger Jr., age 85, currently of Hayes, and longtime resident of Port Jervis, N.Y., died on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. Charles was born on January 4, 1940 to the late Charles and Rita Gunthe Flieger. He was a proud Navy veteran. He worked as a carpenter for many years. Charles is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlene Flieger; his three children, Holli Piggott (Marcus), Charles B. Flieger (Cathren), and Sean Flieger (Andrea); grandchildren, Daniel Gipple Jr., Amelia Holland, Brynleigh, Peyton Flieger, Rylan, Emma, Bently, and great-grandchildren, Addalyn, Braylen, Saylor Gipple. In memory of Charles, contributions may be made to the VFW 7439, John Clayton Memorial Hwy., Gloucester, Va. 23061.
