Charles B. “Bucky” Sears of Richmond, died July 16, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Landon B. and Catherine M. Sears, and his sister, June Tice.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela L. Sears; his son, C. Michael Sears and his wife Wanda; grandchildren, Hunter and Mark Kilgore, Brandon and Jordan Sears (Jody); great-grandchildren, Dillon and Collin Sears; sister, Barbara A. Sears; friend and mother of his children, Joyce W. Saunders.

Bucky was a lineman for Vepco (Virginia Power) for 37 years and his passions were cooking, gardening, fishing, and NASCAR. He could fix almost anything.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Bliley’s Staples Mill Funeral Home, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10-11. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Windsor Gardens Cemetery in Dutton, Virginia.
