The Virginia Peninsula Chamber will present the 2023 State of the Region on Friday, Oct. 6.

The event will be held at the Newport News-Hampton Holiday Inn, with check-in and breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m. and presentations beginning at 8. Tickets are $45. Oct. 4 is the deadline to register.

In the 2023 State of the Region: Hampton Roads Report, the Dragas Center for Economic Analysis and Policy at Old Dominion University examines the continued recovery across Hampton Roads from the economic shock of the COVID-19 pandemic and asks what the prospects for growth are in 2024 and beyond.

The Virginia Peninsula Chamber serves the cities of Newport News, Hampton and Poquoson; and James City County and York County. VPC is a business association, with over 800 members and associates.
